A poem by Kacy Davis
Where freedom is,
laughter flourishes
In the arms of safety,
knowing she is treasured,
She is free
He watches her,
His beloved daughter,
He sees her dance and laugh and be
Her twirls and giggles fill the air
She falls
She cries
She hurts
Her freedom gives her room to struggle
But quickly comes the arms of safety,
they reassure her,
It is ok,
she is safe,
she is loved,
she is still treasured
The dance of joy,
The song of freedom,
The reassurance of a loving Father,
These are the most beautiful things
