WHO ARE YOU?
Are you the guard who uses his sword to pierce His heart because you don’t want to feel your own?
I AM LESS THAN ALIVE
Or
Are you the nails that pierce His hands because you cannot keep your hands holy enough?
HANGING ON TO THINGS THAT I SHOULD LET GO OF
Or
Do you pierce His feet because you walk away from the freedom grace offers?
I AM A SLAVE
Or
Perhaps you are the vinegar they raise to His lips when He cries out “I thirst”, because we offer empty words and a dead heart to God.
TAINTED
Or
Are you the gambler who casts lots for His robe because you want something tangible today instead of hope for the glory to come?
FORGIVE ME FOR MY UNBELIEF
Or
Are you the crown of thorns that tears the precious head of the Obedient One who came to set you free: because your mind cannot comprehend the power of the Spirit to resurrect you from the harm that was done?
CREATE SOMETHING NEW IN ME
Will you choose to examine the brokenness in your life and let the Spirit of God heal your wounds by the love of our Savior? Will you be able to say “His loving sacrifice is enough for me”?
