I went to a friend’s word wall art party and purchased a saying that I love for a bedroom we are redecorating. It says, “LIFE is not numbered by the amount of BREATHS we take, but by the MOMENTS that take our breath away.”
As I ponder the moments that take my breath away I’d like to share a few….
The giggles of my granddaughters
A card from a friend that makes me laugh on a day all I want to do is cry
A beautiful sunrise or sunset
A Facebook chat with my son who is across the world
A picture of my grandson with a smile from ear to ear
My husband sending me flowers and a card for no other reason than to show he is with me on my journey
Friends who send me a text just to say they are thinking of me
God’s amazing provision
I have a disease that affects my lungs. While evil is literally trying to take my breath away, I will set my heart on all the moments of beauty, wonder, love, grace and miracles all around me. THAT is what will take my breath away!
